Star Wars, Galaxy of Heroes is Coming to PC This Year

Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that its popular mobile game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes will be making its way to PC later this year.

The game was originally released in November 2015 and has remained popular with fans for over eight years. It takes players to the heart of the iconic conflict between the light and dark sides of the Force, allowing them to collect and upgrade a vast roster of characters from across all eras of the Star Wars saga. Gameplay involves strategically assembling teams of heroes or villains to overcome challenging battles.

Whether you’re a fan of the tactical prowess of Jedi Masters like Luke Skywalker and Yoda or the raw power of Sith Lords like Darth Vader and Kylo Ren, Galaxy of Heroes offers a character for every playstyle. While players have been using various methods like Android emulators to run the game on PC over the years, EA is finally giving the game an official port.

The PC version of Galaxy of Heroes will feature options for higher resolutions, support for anti-aliasing, and will boost the frame rate to up to 60 FPS. The mobile game runs at 30 FPS. Additionally, while the mobile version of the game features touch controls, the PC port will support keyboard and mouse, but there is no controller support at this time.

Mobile players will be able to continue their progress in the game on the new version and switch between the two platforms whenever they want. According to EA, all future updates to the game will also be released simultaneously on the PC version.
