Tekken 8, scheduled to be released on January 26, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, will feature the new DualSense and 3D audio technologies of the PlayStation 5.
PlayStation 5 players will be able to experience different sensations during combat through the DualSense’s Haptic Feedback technology. For example, when using Rage Arts or Heat Actions, the controller will vibrate, giving the player a sense of power. Additionally, the destruction of stages will also be conveyed to the player through DualSense vibrations.
In addition, Tekken 8 will support 3D audio, which will help players to better identify the position of their enemies. Additionally, sound effects during combat will be played in 3D to provide a more realistic experience for the player.
In addition to these features, Tekken 8 will also offer a new mode called Arcade Quest. In this mode, players can customize their avatars and participate in a story mode that revolves around the arcade mode of fighting games. Additionally, players can customize their fighters with different costumes.
