In 2023, Level Infinite and TiMi Studio Group announced Delta Force: Hawk Ops, a free-to-play first-person shooter. It is the first game in the Delta Force series since Delta Force Xtreme 2 in 2009.
Hawk Ops features a single-player campaign and two multiplayer modes: Hazard Operations and Havoc Warfare. Hazard Operations is an extraction-based mode, while Havoc Warfare is a large-scale PvP combat mode.
The game is currently in pre-alpha and is scheduled to be released in 2024 for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and mobile devices.
The game’s description reads: “Delta Force: Hawk Ops is a new cross-platform tactical shooter where you play as an Operator tasked with completing challenging missions through precise tactical planning and execution.”
The return of Delta Force after 14 years is a welcome development for fans of the series. It remains to be seen whether the game will be a successful revival for the franchise.
